• Soil type: moist, fertile, well-drained soil

Cultural instructions:

• Plant out on moist fertile, well-drained soil in sun or dappled shade
• Anemone plants dislike wet ground, particularly during winter
• Improve soil conditions by adding plenty of well-rotted manure or compost prior to planting
• Cut back flowers as they fade
• Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of anemones in spring
