Bees and butterflies love Ceanothus Yankee Point and we bet you will too! A hardy perennial with deep blue flowers that bloom in spring and early summer, it brings beauty to any outdoor space. Place this one from Plants2Gardens in a garden border or container and enjoy it year after year.

  • Plant position: full sun
  • Soil type: moist, well drained
  • Mature size (h x w): 100cm x 250cm

  • 1 x Ceanothus Yankee Point (4.5L pot) - with unscented blue flowers

Cultural instructions:
  • Remove plants from packaging upon receipt
  • Plant out as soon as possible as long as the ground is not frozen
  • Planting in-ground (bed or border):
  • Dig a hole slightly larger than the rootball and add a some slow release fertiliser to the planting hole
  • Place plant in the hole and backfill using the soil from the hole, plant to the same level the plant was at in the pot
  • Gently press the soil down around the plant
  • Water in well
  • Planting in containers:
  • Ensure the planter you have selected has drainage holes.  You can plant 1 plant per 40cm containers
  • Fill the container with a good quality Rose, Tree & Shrub compost and follow the steps above
  • Maintenance:
  • Please keep your plants well-watered whilst becoming established.  Do not allow the soil to dry out completely.  You can check by feeling just below the soil surface to see if the soil is dry or damp.
  • Prune to shape after flowering in Summer
  • Feed twice a year in Spring and Autumn with a slow release fertiliser.  Please do not over feed your plants – particularly young plants as this can cause a great deal of damage or death
