Contains:

• 1 x Acorus Calamus Argenteostriatus (bare roots) - aromatic, sword-shaped leaves with creamy-white stripes
  
• 1 x Pontederia Cordata (bare roots) - Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. Scented pickerel weed with dense upright spikes of small, tubular deep blue flowers
• 1 x Iris Pseudacorus (bare roots) - scented yellow iris scented with brown veining in the centre
• 1 x patio pot (45cm)
• 1 x planting basket
• 1 x gravel pack

Cultural instructions:

• On arrival, empty the soil mix into the aquatic planting basket and plant the bare roots so that the growing point sits just below the soil surface
• Cover the surface of the soil with the gravel to hold the compost in place
• It is recommended that the planting basket is gently submerged in a bucket of water to allow the compost to become completely soaked through. This will allow any loose compost to float to the surface before you position it in the main planting bowl
• Place the planting bowl in its final position. Choose a sunny or lightly shaded spot
• Transfer the planting basket to the bowl and then gently fill with water
• The perennials in this collection will need dividing and repotting each spring to maintain their vigour
