Cultural instructions:
  • Remove plants from packaging upon receipt
  • Plant out as soon as possible as long as the ground is not frozen
Planting in-ground:
  • Dig a hole slightly larger than the rootball and add a little slow release fertiliser to the planting hole
  • Place plant in the hole and backfill using the soil from the hole
  • Gently press the soil down around the plant
  • Water in well
Planting in containers:
  • Ensure the planter you have selected has drainage holes.  You can plant one plant per 30cm (11.8") container
  • Fill the container with a good quality container compost and follow the steps above
  • Please keep your plants well-watered whilst becoming established.  Do not allow the soil to dry out completely.  You can check by feeling just below the soil surface to see if the soil is dry or damp
  • Remove faded flower stems to tidy plant
  • Feed twice a year in spring and autumn with a slow-release fertiliser.  Please do not over feed your plants – particularly young plants as this can cause a great deal of damage or death
