How to care for your plants:

On arrival:

• Supplied as a pair of pre-planted hanging baskets. The dark grey plastic containers are 27cm in diameter
• Also included is a 100g sachet of Blooming Fast Superior Soluble Fertiliser

Planting in the ground or containers:

• The hanging baskets will arrive with plants already planted inside
• Simply hang the basket up, give it a generous initial water, then wait for it to bloom

Watering:

• Check the baskets every day when the weather is warm and dry. If the surface compost is wet, do not water. However, if it is dry, water well
• Aim to keep the compost moist, but not soggy, and avoid directly wetting the foliage or flowers

Pruning / trimming:

• Pruning is simple. Just deadhead and trim regularly to keep the plant in an attractive shape and encourage new flowers to emerge
• Do not let the plants set seed

Feeding:

• Apply the general-purpose Blooming Fast Fertiliser to the hanging basket once a week, by dissolving 5g of feed using the supplied scoop into 4.5L of water

Winter care instructions:

• Fully hardy pansies are equipped to withstand freezing winter conditions
• These flowers will die off from late spring. Safely store the plastic hanging baskets and reuse them the following summer
