Cultural instructions:

• Carefully unpack the bare root
• The root may need a drink on arrival so soak for 15 minutes before plantings
• Thereafter plant in a place which receives sunshine, does not become waterlogged, either in pot or border
• Agapanthuses are better in a pot as they like to feel their roots are slightly pot-bound
• Water to keep the soil moist. This will be more during hot spells
• This is a herbaceous perennial, let your agapanthus die-back naturally in order to put goodness into the roots for next year
• With a good soil there will be no need to feed, if grown in pots feed your plants every three weeks during flowering
• Make sure the soil is free draining to counter the effects of heavy winter rain
