I've been wanting to try this out for months ever since I first saw it being raved about by beauty bloggers everywhere! I waited for it to come back in stock in my colour, was wanting either 'fair' or 'light', a difficult choice in itself as I had seen many people using fair which I thought looked like the wrong shade on them and way too light but light seemed to oxidise quite a bit. I ended up choosing 'light' as by the time I had decided I would go for 'fair' it had actually sold out. I probably would have needed fair, light just looked very dull.
It arrived and I can honestly say I've never been so excited to try a product out in my life, I have very prominent dark circles under my eyes due to my thin and pale skin and have to layer about 3 concealers on to cover them as i've never found one which was a good enough coverage. So clearly I was excited about the rave reviews and with people saying it was thick and super full coverage I thought this would be the one for me. I was wrong.
I used varying amounts of product from loads to very little, I used a brush, the sponge which came with it and my own sponge and it just did not give me full coverage. Even after setting it I found it creased which everyone had said wouldn't happen. I found it irritating on my eyes, and one day I had to remove it about 10 minutes after I'd applied it because it was very tight and itchy. It did not cover my dark circles how I had expected and they were still very visible and I have very small little bumps under my eyes which I found this concealer stuck to when usually I don't even notice that they're there as well as this it really emphasised fine lines (i'm 21 and don't even have many). I actually prefer my original concealer which is about 1/6th of the price.
I honestly do not think that this concealer is worth the hype at all and I really would say you're better off saving your money, maybe if you don't have dark circles or a little bit of texture under your eyes you'll love it. But I really was thoroughly disappointed and I have sent it back. Don't be fooled by people using this in videos and thinking it looks amazing, close up it probably looks just as bad as it did on me.

Like most of us I've tried literally dozens & dozens of concealers in the past, wasting so much money and becoming increasingly disillusioned.
Most are the wrong shade or texture, too runny or too gloopy, sit in lines or don't provide enough coverage or are waxy & won't blend therefore drawing attention to whatever you're attempting to cover!! Most simply don't conceal at all, until now.
This Tarte Shape Tape concealer is amazing in my opinion. Great coverage which stays put but doesn't appear "cakey", blends easily & the shade Light seems to work a treat on me as most other brands have had an orange hue to them, making them obvious.
This is the latest Tarte item I'm now in love with, a very addictive brand!!
My only regret is that I didn't order more than one concealer as my shade isn't even on Waitlist but Sold Out. This is the only drawback with Tarte, we seem to get limited shade choices in foundation too compared with the USA and it's very disappointing to fall for an essential everyday product one needs only to be told that it's not available & nor likely to be in the future, I feel left a little high & dry by this, PLEASE BRING MORE STOCK OVER TARTE, NOW THAT YOU'VE GOT US ALL HOOKED!!! This is another superb product from Tarte!!
I have used other concealers from this range but i rather think this is my favourite.
You don't need to use much as it is very concentrated and i use the brush that i got with another Tarte concealer as i like the way it applies onto the skin.
I ordered both the light and medium as the in between shade was out of stock.
The light was the best as the medium is quite dark for me. I am using this colour at the moment prior to using the new Cailyn foundation in nude and it works well.
Will re purchase when needed!

Don't usually write reviews but was so impressed with product thought it deserved a comment. I have tried loads of concealer over the years I have really bad dark circles under my eyes and have tried lots of products from QVC and other high end products they all seem to settle in the fine line with no longevity of cover. This product has great staying power and has a matt effect without settling in fine lines thank you Tarte I can finally leave the house without taking concealer to reapply during the day.

So so so disappointed. I ummed and ahhed about buying and finally gave in when I saw the easy pay. I ordered light. And can I tell you it's is very very light and has the greyest/white undertones
The texture is very nice, not too thin or thick.
I applied some under my eyes and bopped away with the sponge (which is fab)
It doesn't conceal anything, emphasised the few lines around my eyes and looked so flat and dry.
I think we've all fallen for the Instagram hype. There are much much better actual concealers out there

I have been waiting for my shade (light medium) to be in stock for ages - and when I saw it I had to grab as I heard so many good things about this concealer! I've been using it daily for about a week now, and have been blending it in various different ways, and I just love it! I love that when purchasing a product with QVC they always give you the tool that best goes with the product, I will however say that the beauty sponge provided with the concealers is a lot more dense than a normal beauty blender, it still does the job well, especially the pointed end! I would not think twice in buying this product, the coverage, blendaibility and staying powers is great! I am half tempted to buy a back when my shades is back in stock again!

I was a bit worried about choosing my shade online in case it didn't match. I chose the shade light and it matched perfectly. This is the nicest concealer I have ever used and I've tried a lot. Covers like a dream and really doesn't crease and settle into my fine lines. Nice to also use on its own without foundation. Blends in perfect and just looks like my skin but better. Very happy and totally recommend!

Had these before with the old style sponge and thought it was fab, just received 2 more of these with a new version of the sponge which is not as good at applying the product. The new sponge is a poor shape and seems a cheap substitute. Still love the shape tape BUT PLEASE BRING BACK the original sponge.
