I purchased both styles from QVC when they first launched and have used them continually since. I have also purchased them as gifts. They are particularly useful for roses and clematis, in the border or in pots. And being flexible they can adapt to size and shape of plant. These are the only plant supports apart from canes that I use and would not be without them.Yes, they can be fiddly at first but worth persevering with. They do not rust, rot or discolour and can be left in situ all year round. An excellent product!

I purchased a set of 4 spiral supports from qvc some years ago and they are still going strong. To get over the initial starting up of the spiral I place the stick pice in the middle of the plant ,then gently push out the middle of the plant leaves then just hold the sriral for the minute and gently turn gathering in stems as you go,not all the stems have to go in the spiral I leave some out for a more relaxed look, after about 6 twists nearly all the stems are in the spiral and then you place on top of the stick,I am using mine at the minute for dahlias, chysants, peony and even lillies

I purchased this item mainly for the short plant supports. Try as I might I could not get them to weave through the foliage . If you have a plant that has a small amount of foliage then I suppose it may work. I suggest you save your money and use some other method which I have resorted to. On looking at the video, the plant support is already in situ on an almost foliage free peony. I think that says it all !
