Cultural instructions:
  • Unpack and plant as soon as possible upon receipt. If this is not immediately possible, open the bag so the air can circulate and keep in a cool, dark and dry area until you are able to plant out
  • Plant out from February to March and soak plants in water for half an hour ahead of planting
  • Dig a hole large enough to fit the entire root mass without any roots being bent
  • Add appropriate fertiliser to give the planting hole a boost.
  • Iris rhizomes sit on the surface of the soil, so place it into the hole so that the top of the rhizome is level with the surface of the soil
  • Firm down the planted area gently with your hands
  • Regular feeding should begin 6 - 8 weeks after planting into their final position Feed with fertiliser or liquid tomato food
  • Follow the same instructions if planting in containers

Please note: parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested. Handling may cause irritation to sensitive skin or allergic reaction
