Reviews & Customer Q&A

Rated 4 out of 5 by good but not great I bought this thinking that it would calm down the redness on my cheeks which it didnt at all, but it is a very good primer in general. It makes my make up go on really well and makes my skin feel really really soft, so I would recommend it just as a primer but if you need anti redness this product does not deliver on that score. Rated 3 out of 5 by Moisturing but disappointing! I was looking for an alternative to my current green cream which is quite drying and very green if not rubbed in properly. This looked like a possible alternative. It is certainly a nice light moisturiser which did feel quite cooling and did even out my complexion slightly but sadly it did not cover my redness at all, so it was returned. March 19, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Soothing but doesn't cover redness This primer feels lovely on the skin so nice I used it instead of my moisturiser. However it doesn't cover redness at all. Disappointing as I don't need a moisturiser I need a primer to cover redness. March 14, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not for me I found this didn't cover redness so had to returned March 05, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product I usually use the neutralising spackle, but due to rosacea and fine thread veins on my cheeks I decided to give this a shot. I find it much better and am actually happy to go without makeup when nipping to the shops with this on. I use a pea size amount after moisturiser and get no green tint to my skin. February 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Give it a go! I bought this duo and gave one to my sister. I suffer from red blotches on my chin and thought I'd give this a go. I honestly saw a difference. It just "calmed" the redness down and then worked as well as a normal Spackle does. My sister even got compliments at work when she wore hers, asking if she has changed her foundation. She hadn't - same B&B but this new Spackle. With a 30 day money back guarantee you really don't have much to lose but I'd fully recommend you try it! (PS, I feel the need to belt out "Defying Gravity" every time I put it on but that's not a requirement) February 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works Brilliantly Love this Spackle. I have high cheek colouring and it toned it down well and left a semi matte finish. Helped with hiding enlarged pores round the nose too February 17, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not for me Bought this new product from Laura Geller and couldn't wait to try it, as usual. I am an avid fan and have loads of this brand. Oh dear! Sadly, not for me. I much prefer the colour correcting spackle which suits my skin (prone to Rosacea) so much better. I found the consistency of this product to be slightly thick and it certainly didn't glide on like the other spackles I have tried. The main problem though was the colour on my skin. It really did have a very green tinge and made me look extremely pale. I certainly couldn't have worn this without foundation of some sort. Even with Laura's new formula balance and brighten it made my skin look dull and pale. Several people actually asked me if I was feeling alright ! Sorry Laura, but this one is not for me. The only product I have ever returned in Laura Geller makeup in all my years shopping with QVC. February 13, 2016
