History
In 1995, Liz Earle and Kim Buckland - specialists in botanical ingredients and manufacturing cosmetics - co-founded the Naturally Active Skincare range because they had difficulty finding products for their own skin types. Liz had extremely dry, sensitive, eczema-prone skin and Kim had a combination/oily, problem-prone complexion. They experimented with naturally active formulations and discovered a cleanser that appeared to normalise and re-balance both their skin types.

This discovery inspired Liz and Kim to create a range with one main aim: to provide affordable, no-fuss pampering formulas with high levels of naturally active ingredients. Formulas that would help everyone's skin look its radiant best.
