Vermeil - Gilded silver, bronze or gold
Water resistant - Able to withstand splashes of water from rain or a shower. Higher degrees of resistance indicated by phrases such as water resistant to 100 meters

White gold - An alloy of gold, copper and zinc
Y-necklace - This style takes its name from the delicate dangle forming a Y-shape around the neck. Usually 16 to 18 inches in length

Yellow gold - The most popular gold alloy. An alloy of gold, silver, copper and often zinc
Zoisite - A grey, brown, or pink mineral, used as an ornamental stone for over 200 years
