Worth the Investment I've had this Miele vacuum for just over a year after my last vacuum just died on us. I'd never used a Miele product before but after being left disappointed by the results of using bagless cyclonic vacuum's, I decided this was worth a try especially with QVC's 30 day return policy. The good points Easily outperformed any previous vacuum I'd used. One pass over a surface is usually sufficient where other vacuum's would need 2 or 3 and still wouldn't get my carpet as clean. Auto feature is neat as it auto adjust's the suction power required to the surface it is on. You can still manually adjust the suction power, which is very useful if you need it whisper quiet when someone is sleeping or on the phone for instance, or just need that extra boost of power to get at stubborn dirt. Ability to instantly turn on or off the brushbar motor at the the flick of a switch. Making it effortless when going from carpet to hard flooring. Bad points It is a a heavy machine so might not suit everyone, however it does glide along the carpet ok when in use so I can forgive it for that. You still have to buy bags. Miele being Miele however have turned this into an advantage as they use the bags as part of the filtering system on the vacuum, meaning less dust particles escape compared to bagless cyclonic vacuum's, which in turn means your home is that little bit cleaner and allergen friendly. Overall I'm still pleased I purchased this Miele, The only thing I'd suggest is that if you have pet's then buying the turbo brush is well worth the investment, Maybe QVC / Miele could add this to any subsequent Miele upright package to make this vacuum complete, March 03, 2013

First class vacuum This has to be the best cleaner I have ever used. I already have a Meile cylinder vac which I have had for many years together with an Oreck upright,recently the Oreck ceased to work so I decided to give the upright Meile a go, I AM SO GLAD I DID. The cleaning power is excellent ,the carpets in my home are all plain coloured and show every little speck,but with this cleaner it is so easy to just run them over and the results are wonderful. Yes it is a weighty machine but its cleaning power certainly out ways this. My daughter borrowed my vacuum last week as her Dyson was not working,she was so impressed with the MEile that she has decided to replace her Dyson with one . February 24, 2013

Miele excellence Having used Miele cylinder cleaners for many years I hoped the upright would live up to my expectations and it has surpassed them. As shown in the demo you can see the dirt and dust being vibrated to the surface of the carpet. The machine is heavier than others on the Market but it glides beautifully and can go under low objects with ease. The cord is also long enough to do a large area without unplugging constantly. My other Miele appliances have lasted for years and years and I am sure this will also. Thoroughly recommend. February 02, 2013

Best vacuum ever I bought this vacuum just before Christmas and I have to say I am over the moon with its performance. I have owned several cleaners over the years including bagless, cyclone, cylinder, and a very expensive multi use cleaner and this one rates the best. My husband said I would find this too heavy to use and that I would send it back as I am not the fittest of people. Yes it is heavier that my last cyclone cleaner but the results far out weigh the the effort of hoovering the house. The hose is far superior reaching a longer distance, and collapsing back into its original shape with no effort. It's location and ease of its use means that I now use it to dust ornaments, silk flowers headboards, curtains etc. Stairs are no longer a problem either. The variable speed is so useful whether using the hose or the floor brushes too. The best part though is the groomed look of my carpets. They look like new! Every speck of fluff, glitter, tree needles, hair, mud etc. is picked up with one sweep of the vacuum making it easy and quick to clean up. The rotating action of the body assists in turning and manoeuvring around corners and furniture so the machine is not so heavy to use. I have had more aches and pains using other vacuums than this one so yes I am totally smitten. I know it may seem sad but I just love the results on my carpets. I rate my Miele 5 stars and will be keeping this top class vacuum. January 18, 2013
