Description

Keep your fruit and vegetables fresher for longer with these food preservation packs. The set comes with three ethylene gas guardian packets with 12 refills and four date reminder stickers. The packets are very similar to sandwich bags but they work by absorbing the gas emitted by the produce and can double the shelf-life of produce when stored in a closed bin or container. You may even save money as you will end up throwing away less.

better than genius I have had these for several years now and would'nt be without them,because they work better than anything else in food preservation.Great for carrots.grapes.strawberries,etc, whch can last 3 or 4 weeks. A must if you live alone! December 15, 2011

Excellent product Have found this product works so well, that I've re-ordered. There are products you can buy that are bigger and more expensive that it's nice to find an alternative that just sits in the vegetable tray of the fridge. A pity you can't just buy the refills. June 06, 2010

Letdown This is a terrible product. I have tried to use it with bananas and there is absolutely no difference in terms of how quickly they go brown. I have tried quite a few times. I cannot understand how it can be said it works, it does NOT work with bananas June 02, 2009

A Desert Island product This is a real money saver, it extends the useable life of so much of the veg, fruit and salad that we eat; I now will buy salad when it's reduced, knowing it will okay for the next day, I get to use all of things like celery, can buy bags of fruit and space it out so we get to eat pears and apples at their best. We really wouldn't be without them; oh and I change them every 4 months, not the recommended 3, sorry QVC, so get a good 2 yrs worth for my money Oh and I've recommended them to everyone I know November 13, 2008
