Disappointed I buy lots of the lavender yankee candle small jar candles and thought it would be more cost effective to purchase the large candle as I use them every day. The large candle was ok but tunelled a bit despite long burning hours. That would have been fine but I had a big surprise when I washed the shade in warm water as it had got a bit sooty and was making the white seem a little grey. Well, the white glass must've been painted because the white finish came off !! I thought it was white glass, nevermind, thank goodness for money back guarantee. Thankyou- it could have been a costly throw out as it was ruined.Shame as it is a pretty shade and plate but you do need to be able to wash them I think. June 26, 2012

Lavender luxury I adore this piece. The french lavender candle is absolutely wonderful and will become a favourite of mine I'm sure. The glow through the shade when the candle is alight is both mesmerising and soothing. Full marks to QVC customer services too as my first order sadly arrived smashed to smithereens but QVC had it replaced within the week - thank you! June 07, 2012

Hmmmm This is not the usual YC standard. The glass is like pyrex which has transfers stuck on. It is quite brash. ..no texture, all smooth. I hope this isn't going to be the future style as I prefer the ones with lumps and bumps. I am keeping it to give away but would not buy one for myself. May 22, 2012
