Disappointed I have bought these easy fill hanging baskets before and was very pleased with them. However the two I have recently purchased are of a lesser quality than the ones previously purchased. They seem to be of a lesser quality and as I filled the basket it was not easy to replace the "gates" back into position. I am not confident that they will stay in place as the plants grow. I will not be buying anymore of the easy fill hanging baskets from QVC as the price does not reflect the quality. May 25, 2013

Gates need to be solid These baskets are a marvellous idea but for the life of me can't understand why they put holes in the gates, a complete nightmare when watering, the water just pours through and you end up with a mess on the patio. If they were solid with just the hole for the plant they would be perfect. Sorry but as they are I wouldn't waste money on them. May 16, 2013

Poor quality I aready have serval of theses from another channel and think they are brilliant , Was really pleased that Qvc started selling them, however the quality is poor, the plastic is weak and its hard to get the gates in and the chain through the holes. Very dissapointed sadly March 28, 2013

easy to fill hard to maintain When these first arrived and I filled some up last year I was very impressed. They are just as easy as they show on the TV. However, trying to water them subsequently has been a nightmare. You water the top and it pours straight out of the holes in the side. Also if you don't plant up all of the slots the water flows out of them even more quickly. My parents have had some of these several years. They get round the problem by lining the top section with polythene. And not using container compost, which has a tendency to dry out and become completely impervious. They also water them once or twice a day which for me defeats part of the point of having plastic baskets. I'll try plastic liner in top sections and different compost. If that doesn't work I'll have to revert to old practice of lining whole basket with old compost bag and just planting the top. March 15, 2013
