NOT EASYFILL!!!!!!!
Bought these last year, but didn't use. Decided to try them this year. NOT EASYFILL!!!!!!!!. Gates difficult to click into place and 2 of them snapped in half. Eventually decided to only use one basket. The others went in the bin. The one that I now have hanging up will probably also end up in the bin as when I try to water it, I end up getting soaked as the water just pours out. Don't waste your money!!!!!!! Wish I had returned them last year. Will stick to the usual basket in future.

Not so good
I made up four easy fill hanging baskets and they were quick to do I used Richard Jackson's compost! I have now noticed the plants at the side of the basket have died the ones on top are O.K.

DISAPPOINTED
I bought two sets of these last year and although the theory of the design sounds good, in reality the quality and endurance is below par. As mentioned in other reviews, the water just flows through them. A couple of them cracked quite easily at the rim, when I tried to fit the gates, which incidentally was not a great fit in some of the spaces. With all of that in mind when I took them out of the shed this year a few of the chains were rusted and not useable and given that the presenter and Richard J went to great lengths to say how good the chains were and what they would cost if bought in a DIY store, is not what I would have expected. I would not recommend these to anyone and with hindsight should have returned them but ordered them early so was outiwth the 30 days return policy. They do have a fault though! What did the presenter say...sixteen years I have been using the same baskets...if so they can not be the same quality they are currently selling. A bad buy in my opinion and I have planted enough baskets in my time to know good from bad

Best purchase
I've been doing hangings baskets for years, these were by far the best display I have had for years. The baskets looked professional and I received endless complements. I didn't have a problem with the watering and losing compost. What worked for me, I would water the baskets every other day and they flourished. I can't wait to do them up again this year. I started my basket July last year and had flowering until November, will be doing them again in July this year. If you've not tried them, give them a go, I bought 8 and filled all of them! Please be careful when full of compost and wet, they can become heavy if transporting. Happy gardening.
