From black spider to white elephant I really love this brooch. I ordered the black one and on the few times i wore it I received lots of compliments, but after four wearings I noticed that one of the stones had fallen out and been lost. I returned it for a replacement but on the second wearing a stone fell out of this one too only this time it had caught on my coat so it wasn't lost. We stuck it back in ourselves with super glue as I didn't want to spend more money on postage but now I am reluctant to wear it at all and find myself just admiring it in the box :-( March 31, 2013

Stunning! This spider is simply stunning! I ordered the clear version and was stunned when I opened the box. The spider is enormous, probably almost the size of a real Tarantula. You'll need a large lapel or thicker material to pin this to as it's quite heavy, but it will definitely get noticed. It's a really beautiful, well made and very sparkly piece of jewellery that looks very expensive. I think anyone with a spider phobia should avoid this, otherwise, I would thoroughly recommend it. I am collecting the set ! I came back from two weeks Holiday yesterday and the first thing I did was root through the post for this ! I am slowly building the set of Spiders up , I have the Pendant, Ear Rings and now the Brooch all in Multi but I am also on wait list for the Black Brooch so I will probably collect the black set too ! I Love them all , at first I thought the Necklace was a bit short , but it is actually perfect for nice necklines .This Brooch stands out so well on dark and light clothes and the Spiders are certainly a talking point, a great sized piece I am delighted with and give it five stars .Super Spider ! Just stunning! This is my fourth Butler and Wilson brooch and they never fail to amaze me! I bought the spider in black and it is just stunning! I love the way it looks so much like the real thing.
