Kirks Folly Crystals of the Fairy Realm Chandelier Windchime - 339266 11 11OMG WOW what a beauty this is! Ive been in two minds to get this or not due to the price; just like other reviewers but, it came on easy pay so I decided what harm can it do to just order it and have a look. No way is this going back it's beautiful and well worth every penny as far as Im cancerned, it's got lots of substancial size crystals on it and throws light particles all around the room. It's got the bling factor without doubt but it's got so much more than that. Im that taken by it that Ive decided the next btime it comes on easy pay, Im going to get another one for my bedroom, but dont tell the husband! :) December 28, 2012Dazzling sparkle, calming and inspiring! I feel I must add a review for this wonderful windchime as I totally disagree with the last reviewer's comments and wonder if they have reviewed the corect piece - Kirk's Folly also do other, smaller windchimes. However, back to this item - I was apprehensive about ordering not just in view of the cost, but a sparkling, AB coated crystal windchime is not normally my style! I tend to go more for understated, classic pieces and decor, but I was really drawn to this windchime for some reason. Although the presentation was short due to the fact that the windchime was selling so quickly, I had seen enough to make up my mind and order. I certainly made the correct decision. I love the size of the windchime and although it is certainly a considered purchase, all the crystals are from Swarovski and they are wonderfully facetted. Anyone who collects Swarovski pieces will know how expensive the crystals are and when you take into account the number and size of crystals on this windchime, it puts the cost firmly into perspective. The chimes themselves are also very pleasing to the ear and I find the sound to be very calming, almost soothing in fact. I have found that when the crystals are bathed in sunlight with the breeze giving gentle movement to invoke the sound of the chimes I definitey feel more positive and grounded. Now whether this has to do more with the power of light and sound than the magic and mystic of fairies, I will let each of you make up your own minds, however, I can not dismiss that I was somehow surprisingly drawn to purchase this windchime... July 05, 2012very pretty I was expecting this product to be really spectacular after reading the previous reviews so I felt a bit let down when I actually received it. It is pretty but smaller than I expected and the crystals are a bit cold looking. the main let down though was the ring from which the crystals descend, I think it is glass as it feels like that to the touch but it looks like plastic because it has a murky, frosted appearance in stark comparison to the rest of the wind chime. Debating whether to keep it or not... July 04, 2012Stunning is an understatement!!! I own tons of pieces from Kirks Folly, and have many of the windchimes. This one takes 1st prize. It is absolutely breath-taking. I also (like previous reviewers) felt very guilty about the cost, but upon unpacking the box, realised that it is worth every penny. It is hanging in my living room window (along with many other KF windchimes!). When the light catches it, especially first thing in the morning, the living room is immersed in a rainbow of colours dancing around the room. The pretty sounds from this windchime - a very sweet tinkle and a satisfying sound of the crystals when the touch -are a delight to the ears. No wonder this sells out so quickly! If it was a bit cheaper I'd be tempted to have one in every window. You know what would be great? Seasonal ones - a gorgeous autumn one with rust coloured leave shaped crystals, a winter one with snow-flake shaped crystals and other seasonal detail. March 07, 2012You may also like...
