Admired Although I agree this brooch is stunning to look at and always admired whenever I wear it ,the reason I have only given it 4 stars is because the back of the brooch is ugly and no attempt has been made to hide the soldering etc, and I feel for the price the reverse should be finished to a better standard ,after all even Simons keyrings have an attractive backing to them, I certainly wouldn't give it as a gift, the finish makes it look cheap. Sparkling Champagne This one makes me smile every time I look at it - it does just look like a glass of sparkling champagne. I haven't worn mine yet, saving it for the Christmas "do" but I have pinned it onto my jacket ready to wear and it seems to sit quite well. With bigger brooches I always push the pin through the material a few times, as if you were sewing, and then I find they sit well and don't move about. November 29, 2011

A show stopper! I had been deliberating for ages whether or not to go for this piece, but am so glad that I finally did. I wore it a couple of weeks ago to a ball, pinned onto a plain black dress, and had comments on it all night. Make sure it is securely pinned to the fabric, just below the shoulder is probably best, then it will lie properly and not move around, as it is quite a substantial piece, although not heavy or uncomfortable. It is a very eye-catching brooch, and far too sparkly and pretty to lie in its box when not being worn, so I have pinned it onto a cushion when I am not wearing it! If you have been deliberating, like I was, go for it - you will not be disappointed. October 18, 2011

Disappointing memory This was bought to wear on my 25th wedding anniversary but I was so disappointed when I found that it did not lie well on my outfit. It tipped forward and even on my jacket I still could not get it to sit right. Sadly what should have been something to keep for always with wonderful memories let me down. I will be returning it.
