No good for sensitive skin I got this brush in the starter set with the foundation. The first couple of times I used it I was quite happy and it felt nice and soft. But then I noticed that my face started to feel sore and the brush felt like it was scratching my skin. I found out that the brush is made from goats hair and I don't think my skin can tolerate this. I've now bought a synethic hair brush which feels much better on my skin. I won't be buying anymore makeup brushes made from animal hair. You maybe be ok with this brush if you don't have sensitive skin. January 08, 2013

Uncomfortable and scratchy I used this brush for a couple of years but always found it uncomfortable, the hairs really scratched my skin. It also lost lots of hairs and didn't keep its shape very well. I just put up with it until I tried the full coverage kabuki brush and wow, what a difference! It is so soft. If you are looking for a foundation brush I would definitely not bother with this and go for the kabuki. November 23, 2012

Does the job brilliantly This brush makes the 'swirl, tap, buff' routine so easy and is soft on the skin. It also cleans well, using the Bareminerals brush cleaner. (When are you going to stock this, QVC?) The coverage is superb. July 19, 2012

MOULTING HAIR I have had a few of these brushes as part of a set and I'm surprised bare escentuals haven't improved them, I end up with loose hairs all over my face, and then I give up using them, and these brushes are not cheap. May 01, 2012
