Ultrasun SPF30 Face 100ml - 224869 54 54Great protection but not for me I love Ultrasun so I thought I'd try the face formula. Sadly I broke out in pimples over face, neck and chest. It could be the anti-aging ingredients because I use the normal 30 and I don't have a reaction. It did give excellent protection as I was fine on a day out whilst my family were a nice shade of lobster, and I'm fair haired and fair skinned. Please don't write off Ultrasun if you have a reaction, try a different formula. June 03, 2013Recommending this to everyone! In a word....fab u lous!. I have sensitive, reactive skin, particularly on my cheeks and neck .In the past I've used more expensive, high end mineral sunscreens from cosmetic companies which proved effective and didn't cause any real irritation but somehow I could always "feel" and "see" these products on my skin and after three or four hours I would invariably find a few tiny balls of dried cream had settled into the fine creases of my neck and forehead. So, mindful of your thirty day guarantee period I postioned my new Ultrasun SPF 30 face tube next to my normal daily moisturiser and waited for the first sunny day at home to try it out... May Day Bank Holiday brought the sunshine and so after cleansing in the morning I applied the cream all over my face, neck and that french place I used to call my chest. I was disappointed as it felt thick and tacky when first applied BUTafter waiting ten minutes it seemed to settle into my skin leaving it feeling soft, comfortable and looking great. I had planned to apply moisturiser and then a dab of foundation over my nose. chin and cheeks but didn't feel the need. Feeling confident I applied some around my eye area leaving the sunglasses to protect the actual lids. I am seriously impressed with the quality and efficacy of this once a day sun cream. There's a mirror near my patio door and I kept checking my face everytime I popped out into the garden. No shine and even after an hour of mowing the lawn in the mid afternoon sun- no little white balls appeared in the folds and creases. More importantly, my skin felt comfotable all through the day and into the evening. (In the past I've always rushed to wash suncreams off my face as soon as I'm safely indoors). At bedtime I noticed a single fine white line along one crease in my neck ...not bad for a cream that had been bonded to my skin for fifteen hours! My husband played cricket last Sunday. He was a little forlorn on his return in the evening as he was run out for 9 and dropped an easy catch but I was delighted! I'd grabbed him early in the morning as he stepped out from the bathroom and slapped some of my face 30 on him before he could put his shirt on. It was the first time in twenty years he'd come home after a game in the sun with no trace of sunburn on the back of his neck. He played again yesterday. I was all set for another early morning wrestling match but he'd already put some on. "I like this ultra stuff. It doesn't make my neck feel sweaty." Praise indeed! Well done QVC for recommending a great product at a very competitive price! June 01, 2013Great value Great price for me to use as an everyday moisteriser on its own, but of course with the wonderful sun protection. Suits my sensitive skin, at last I have found a sun cream that feels great, and it allows me to apply my Bare Minerals foundation virtually straight away. Previously I have only relied on the SPF in my foundation because I did not like other sun protection products which do not absorb well into skin and smell horrid ! I love my Liz Earl moisteriser and was using it day and night but will now use it as a night cream only. The combination Of Ultra sun and Liz Earl definately suits me well. May 19, 2013The Best! I have Rosacea and have been advised by my hospital dermatologist to wear sun cream every day.Ultrasun is my chosen product and I have worn it daily for 3 years. I like the fact that it doesn't feel creamy and greasy on my skin.Its perfect for keeping my high colour under control and an absolute dream as a make up primer. Its great to know that whilst I'm keeping my Rosacea under control,I'm also protecting my face from the sun and its anti-ageing! what a combination! I can also add that I still tan using this product,although I have found I need more than a once day application when holidaying abroad. The only thing I would change about this packaging (but great size!) is that I prefer the pump action compared to this tube.I find the pump a more measured (and hygienic) way to use it.
