Really finishes off my make up
I have this in more than one colour now because I liked it so much. Its not high colour (although there is a light colour) but it gives definition and the dewy, highlighted finish that it gives looks youthful and modern. I don't put loads on as you don't need it, and I've been using mine for ages and there's still loads left.

I'm 48 and it looks fab!
I have this in the rose, pink quartz,24 karat and apricot. Despite another customer saying its not for older people, I disagree!!!! I love my shimmer bricks and wouldnt be without them. My advice is to try them, we are all different but its best to try it for ourselves.

Looks lovely despite being over 50
I have Shimmer Brick in Rose, Pink Quartz and Bronze and have used them since their introduction. With skilled application they are awesome.
I can use them as a highlighter on eyes, above the lip bow using a small brush. As an eyeshadow using the darker shades and a facial highlighter to help sculpt the features.
They are not blushers per se, certainly in day time, they are too shimmery on any skin & can make older skin look sweaty.
I recommend to anyone who feels their skin is looking flat and grey. However, practice makes perfect in the application

UNSUITABLE FOR OLDER SKINS
When you get over 45 , sparkly is not a great look - Alison said this gave a Bond girl look , Bond girls are rarely older than 30 and imo, shimmer brick in whatever colour smacks of "trying far too hard" once you hit 45 - Alison should know better , she is the resident expert and should tell customers that there is an "age limit" on the suitability of shimmer brick . The only use for shimmer brick over 45 is as an eye shadow and even then , it depends on the shade you choose , Its a "young" product and looks fab on my 19 year old daughter but Bobbie Brown drastically needs to re-think the glitter content for people over 45 - we need different things. We need highlights but not glitter, we need subtle definition but not glitter . Alison is usually infallible in her advice but I have the same kind of skin and colouring as her ,albeit a wee bit older and I can't wear this. Maybe on TV with TV lights this looks good , in harsh British daylight whatever time of year, this product only belongs on the under 30's - anyone else is deluding themselves because it looks fake and deadens even great skin.
