1 x Windsor Castle Magnetic Polish (10ml) - cornflower blue. New and only available at QVC
1 x Westminster Magnetic Polish (10ml) - metallic copper shimmer. New and only available at QVC
1 x St Marks Square (10ml) - purple metallic shimmer. New and only available at QVC
1 x Boltons Place (10ml) - taupe metallic shimmer. New and only available at QVC
1 x Fitzrovia (10ml) - soft pink nude cream. No longer available on the high street
1 x Kensington Caviar Topcoat (10ml) - super glossy top coat which is touch dry in 45 seconds

How to apply magnetic polish

Apply the magnetic polish then immediately hold the magnet over
the nail with the lid placed just below the cuticle
Be sure not to touch the nail with the magnet
Once the wave effect has appeared, repeat the process on each nail
Follow by using the Nails Inc Kensington Caviar Top Coat

How does magnetic polish work?

This unique formula has been specially developed with metallic particles to create a pattern on the nail using magnetic forces. As the magnet (in the lid of the bottle) is held over the nail, the iron powder in the formulation gravitates toward it forming a pattern for an astonishing finish.

Fabulous set when you learn how to use!! Like many others I read the reviews before I buy on QVC and this set did worry me with the negative points on the magnetics. - I ordered anyway! The magnetic varnishes are fabulous if used correctly!! Apply base coat first then dry, then a THIN layer of magnetic varnish and dry again. Then you add a really thick layer of varnish to one finger at a time and instantly hold the magnet over! Keep it as close as you can for 5 seconds and whalaa the effect is done ... finish with top coat! I practised a few times before I had a gorgeous set of talons! But it is worth it and I always get complimented! Top coat as always is fab and the other shades are lovely too! Only 4 stars as the magnetic varnish seems to chip a tad easily but this may be to the thickness of coats. All I can say is try it as it is a worth while collection!!! January 15, 2013

No staying power I bought this for my daughter but decided to try it out before wrapping it. I used the brown and the magnet, my nails looked fantastic. The main problem was that it came off so easily even with a Nails inc top coat, just washing hands etc made it all look so tacky. Unfortunately I've sent it back..won't be buying any more Nails inc..I can't afford the time or money to have a varnish that is only on for a few hours. Will continue with Leighton Deny instead as his last longer. December 29, 2012

Waste of money I bought this for my daughter she did not tell me how bad it is I tried it magnet does not work and the polish peeled of after only 1 day. If she had told me earlier I would have sent it back DO not buy it . November 13, 2012

dont waste your money long lasting it states in the review - um if less than 24hours is long lasting then yeah - i love my nails and they are frequently painted various colours but the purple in this set chipped and i hadn't even had it on 12hours - ive tried various combinations of colour on its own, with top coat, with base coat, with top and base and none have succeeded in staying chip or wear free for longer than 12hours - do not buy this product until they change the formula to give it more staying power - i'll go back to my 17 cheapo versions and i only put a star rating because you have to it isn't worthy of one star October 10, 2012
