Features all-over block colour, shaping 'O So Slim' lining and pintuck detailing running vertically down the neckline and across the bust which creates a flattering drape effect. Not for me..... I ordered this dress in the coral as I liked the colour fully expecting it to be a bit on the short side as I am quite tall. Suprisingly, it was not the length that I was disappointed with but the overall (more frumpy than flirty) appearance and the rather annoying "oh so slim" lining which, even if it did anything to hold me in (which it didn't) left me wondering why this was necessary at all in a loose fitting dress of this nature. I have only ever ordered one dress previously from this range which I really liked the style of - despite the length. However, in that case I found the lining constantly riding up on wearing it. So, overall, I think I will not bother trying further styles in this range as I am not prepared to pay for a concept which not only does not work for me but is rather irritating. June 24, 2012

Ronni Nichol Ordered this dress as it looked to be the right length for me - I'm 5'4", but, sorry, just too short. Also finish is not as good as it could have been. I have bought this make before and have been pleased with it, but this was a big disappointment. April 30, 2012

Mixed feelings As this range of dresses is always too short for me (5ft 8ins,size 18 and preferring mid calf length) i thought i'd try this as a tunic as I loved the colours. Sadly though purple and coral were fabulous colours and the weight of the fabric was good, the finishing was not great - e.g loose threads and one huge clump of thread where one of the pintucks finished and which stuck out like a sore thumb. Also quite a lot of grubby machine cotton fluff around the inside of the seams which was a bit off-putting. But the real decider was that it was too long as a tunic and looked what it was i.e. a dress trying to be a tunic and which ended up looking like maternity wear. Sadly i've concluded that this range is never going to be for me but hope we'll see more of Very Vollbracht which on its first showing promises to be more suited to my needs. April 28, 2012

casual but smart Loved the colour i bought the green.Loose fit,great for warm weather.will wear heels in the evening,or pretty sandals for the day.Only downside is that the pleats don't always lie flat.Otherwise great dress. April 25, 2012
