Rated 3 out of 5 by LG121 Confused with the shades!!!
I'm a medium beige in the original foundation, I ordered the beige and the satin both I found to be too dark, if the same models are used in the original foundation shades it would be easier to compare.
Both foundations will be returned,

I purchased this foundation some time ago but I found, like other reviewers that it seems to highlight open pores and in fact seems to make my skin look like it has open pores all over . Although the coverage is ok I still find I have to use quite a lot of concealer.
I decided to put it to one side and resume using it with one of the newer mineral veils (advanced Performance) but I'm afraid it has not made any difference so I've given up on it .
I'm disappointed because I love everything else I have bought from bare minerals (via QVC). one of my favourite's being the tinted primer which is amazing.
As another reviewer said this foundation is relatively expensive but I don't mind so much when an item is a let down when its part of a set or TSV because the other items usually make up in value for the one thats not so good but unfortunately I purchased this as a separate item so I will just have to put it down to experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Happyme777 Takes getting used to, but....
It's amazing! There's definitely a learning curve and if I'm honest, I didn't like it at first. But now I find myself reaching for it every single day.
I have never, ever had a perfect colour match as this in all my make up wearing years. Finding a colour match is very difficult for my skin (Indian skin tone, light to medium brown, with strong yellow olive undertones). I use the READY foundation in R330 (which I also love) and in bareskin I use bare nude no. 9 (which isn't actually sold on QVC). I can also wear bare beige no.8 but this is definitely a more neutral shade for my yellow skin although I can make it work with blusher and bronzer. But bare nude no 9 is an exact match and goes with the READY R330 perfectly.
Skin needs to be well prepped for this. And by this I mean properly moisturised because this can catch on dry patches. I don't wear a primer with this and I don't even powder over the top some days if I don't have time. I like that this doesn't require several other products to make it work. It does a great job by itself.
Application is now quick and easy for me as I know exactly how much I'll need and also use the recommended brush with this too. But, I do think any stiff, dense buffing brush will work with this foundation. It is indeed a thin serum texture. If it's well shaken, it will sit on top of your foundation brush when you dispense the drops. If it's not, I find it sinks into the bristles. I then just dot and stripe the product on my face and blend. The heavenly perfect colour match means that even if I rush the buffing, I don't get streaks or tide marks. I usually use one to two drops and that's perfect coverage for me - I'd say medium coverage for acne marks and scars and uneven tone. It doesn't cover a small port wine birthmark I have in the centre of my face, so if I'm looking for full coverage that day I top with the R330 and I look like I have unbelievably flawless skin. It photographs beautifully too.
My one and only complaint is how the product just seeps and seeps and seeps out of the hole in the top. The cap and nozzle get so messy and I end up wasting soooooo much product as I literally only need one or two drops at a time and I'm wiping away handfuls at a time. Why is this happening? I have tried tapping the bottle before opening, banging the base on a hard surface, unblocking with a pin...nothing helps. I have to dispense and then rush to get the lid back on before it gushes everywhere. I end up just using the product that's collected in the lid and don't find this very hygienic but just don't want to waste the foundation!!
But still, 5 out of 5 for the foundation itself. And if the problem with packaging can be fixed that would be a bonus. Thanks bare minerals!

I love this foundation, it makes me look like me again! I'm having chemotherapy and with out this product I really do look like that sick cancer patient, with grey skin tone with dark circles under my eyes!
I wear 2/3 drops of this foundation with a natural eyeshade, eyeliner, blush and lipgloss and you would never know I'm a chemo patient, people are shocked if they find out! The Macmillian team keep telling me how well I look, and so do friends and family! I only wear BM products as they are so gentle on my very sensitive skin and really easy to apply. Thank you for making me look like me during this very difficult time!

This is just like an oil slick on my face. Used the same formula to get the right shade as I would for the original, and what a disaster, back to the original for me.

I have to say i was unsure over buying this having looked at the overall star rating. How wrong was I, its amazing. perfect coverage and so easy to apply. I have used bare minerals foundation for years then tried complexion rescue which I am really happy with so tried Bareskin serum foundation which gives a different but beautiful finish. I feel I have the perfect foundation wardrobe with all three foundation products. Thank you

thought i would try this even after reading mixed reviews. it was fabulous the coverage is good and made my skin feel silky smooth. the only complaint is the bottle as it is very hard to get the liquid out., perhaps it needs to be redisigned

Rated 1 out of 5 by tantone04 sticky and poor coverage
I ordered the bare ivory as instructed on
the program for my colour match but it was awful, a really odd yellowy colour which made me look ill. the foundation is really difficult to get out of the bottle, it felt sticky and and made me look rather ill. It did not cover my sun spots and felt very uncomfortable to wear. I shall be sticking with the mineral powders. Very dissapointed
