In 1993, QVC took on the revolutionary idea of TV shopping in the UK. 19 years later, we’re a household name in Britain and the nation’s leading shopping channel.
QVC is a virtual shopping centre where customers can shop for quality merchandise 24 hours a day, seven days a week via television, telephone, computer of even the iphone. Our goal is to exceed the expectations of our customers by offering unique and innovative products which are matched in quality and value. To do this, we source products in the United Kingdom as well as every continent on the globe except Antarctica.
Reaching over 200 million households, QVC broadcasts 24 hours each day - live from 9am to 2am. In 2011, over 1 million unique customers shopped with us and servies 11.5 million customers globally each year. We currently have over 1.1 million active customers.
QVC UK is one of the top five TV shopping channels in the world in terms of revenue. QVC UK is part of a $8.3 billion global business with divisions in the US, Germany, Italy and Japan, employing 17,000 people worldwide.
Vendor Relations role is to assure the continuous improvement of the Vendor’s experience at QVC. We are accountable for the quality of the vendor’s relationship with QVC and for fostering a positive reputation for QVC within the marketplace.
