I am a Join Clothes addict but I was truly shocked at the shoddy jersey fabric used in a garment at this price point. The tension of the knitted fabric is so loose that the outline of underclothes can be seen right through it. I wonder why Join decided to depart from their usual top quality jersey as the garment is ruined as a result - I also found poor finishing with loose stitches at the end of a dart. The garment was scrunched out of recognition when it arrived - careless packaging I assume. I have awarded it only 2 stars as I think the design is fine but for the fabric. It goes back by return. Pity.

Couldn't resist this at the oto price in the gorgeous green. Ordered a large (size 14/16) as I find the Join knits very clingy and wanted a looser fit. Unfortunately due to the very fine knit it is extra clingy, and very see-through. Very disappointing. I've also found it a nightmare to wash. If you hang it up it grows, if you lie it flat it takes on the shape of the edges of the surface. On a brighter note, the green is a lovely colour and the shape would be fabulous in a heavier knit or a superior fabric. I dithered for so long about it that I ran out of time to return, so I'll have to resign myself to constantly pulling it away from my trousers, and avoid the knits in this range.

sorry but the fabric is not for me. the top's style and fit were lovely but after wearing for one afternoon i noticed the fabric has several snags down the front of it. i wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary so can only assume the fabric is too delicate. i have returned and will stick to the usual fabric i am used to in the future. it even snagged as i was putting it back into the packaging as it stuck to the self adhesive closing strip.

This is a stylish and elegant top. It will be one of those pieces that you wear all the time hence I am very tempted to keep both. I am a size 16 and ordered a M in Forest Green and a L in Black at the one time only price. M plenty big enough due to style of top. L probably a slightly better fit on arms.
Theses pieces are ridiculously expensive, most definitely not worth the full price. (How do Join justify these prices?!) Word of warning the black top is see through and I could see my black bra through it. It could only be worn with a camisole underneath.

I ordered this as a OTO before it was aired when I found it on the website. It arrived today and I wish I had waited for the presentation because although it was a lovely shape, it fitted well (ordered the medium for size 12) and hung very well and the navy was a nice colour, it was see through!! The fabric was so thin that I would have to have worn a tea shirt underneath or some sort of cami - it showed my BLACK bra! I also have reservations about the material keeping its shape because it seemed easy to pull out of shape gently and there was very little resistance. However I will have a think as it was a lovely shape and fell away beautifully from the body.

This top could be so nice. The style is nice and the stitching is ok. The fabric is see through and wrinkly. It just does not hang well because of the fabric.
First time I have ordered this brand. Disappointed.

I'm a regular Join wearer - received this in Black XL...I'm a usual XL but have to say this is far too big...it's rather voluminous especially around the hips - they've added lots of pleats & great pockets but all are around the hip area. If you are slim on the hips it will give you more shape - if you are hippy like me this tunic over-emphasises them. It's a lovely length tunic. The knit is very thin & stretchy (not a Winter knit), plenty of room across the chest area. It's very much a layering piece. Too cold in Winter to wear on its own, so will need a vest underneath and a cardi, duster or waistcoat on top later in the year for sure. XL makes me look bigger than I am & still considering exchanging for a smaller size. Bought as a 'One Time Only' - I would advise everyone to consider the hip measurements more than anything as the stretch across the chest is ample. Hope this helps some of you.
