Rated 3 out of 5 by serialshopper Expensive for average blush
I ordered both shades on the over-hyped launch show. I should have gone with my gut as the blush looked very overdone on every model & presenter that day, but I thought it may have been a heavy American hand rather than the product. It did not matter how little I applied, the 'Tease' shade made me look like I'd been punched in the face. 'Flush' was ok &gave a reasonably nice effect but I still have to be super light. Very expensive for what is an ok item, but I kept one because I felt a bit bad for returning so much of this range. Not particularly impressed.

When I opened this item there was loose powder all over, inside and out, gave me the impression it had been used.

When i came to order there was only 'Tease' shade left so i ordered thinking it would be too dark.
The blusher arrived and on opening my thoughts were confirmed but on trying i was amazed how natural a 'flush' of colour it gave me!! I really did think i would be returning this product but no i do like it!
You have to use very sparingly, and i have a beautiful blusher brush from 'it cosmetics' which i barely touch on the blusher and it holds enough colour to give a natural look.
I am amazed at the negative reviews, perhaps its the blusher brush that is making people look 'clown like' as they have stated because i too have used a different brush and got the wrong finish.
I am a big Tarte fan but i do like this blusher and it will last for such a long time.
I think again this item is quite expensive compared to other blushers from top brands that include a good brush with their product at similar price bracket as this one.
Come on Qvc get some deals for us!!

On opening the package this reddish shiny powder had found its way out of the compact and into the horrible brown cheap paper in which it was wrapped. This blusher is dry and glittery and creates a look suitable for a circus. Have also purchased several other Jay Manuel products and are being sent back as they are nothing like I expected. The advertising hype was utterly ridiculous for products that in my opinion are no better than many of the far less expensive brands of make up claiming similar promises. The P&P both ways makes these purchases very expensive mistakes but I was sucked in by the presenter and her over enthusiastic ravings. Not a happy customer today !!

I should have realised when I saw Chloe's blusher that this was a no no. More fool me. It was red and glittery.

In the presentation, it was mentioned that most blushers where too red or too glittery but this was not. Sadly, what did I get - too red and glittery!!!!

Sadly, this has followed the same theme as the TSV that I purchased. I do really like Jay and so wanted to love his makeup too. It needs a re-think. Forget the fancy, Hollywood style lighting and the (excrutiatingly) over effusive presenter and just stick to the basics. I gave this a very light touch and looked like bobo the clown. It was horrible. I purchased flush and it is a brick red with some glitter in it. Jay said that it wouldn't sit in the pores on your cheeks, where apart from our noses, they are most prevalent. This showed up every single pore I had and a few I didn't know were there. I won't be buying anything else at all from this range sadly. Another big miss.

I went for the lighter colour as have light to medium skin tone. Found the product to red and very highly pigmented and even using the tiniest amount made me look like a clown. Will stick with Tarte.
