Reviews & Customer Q&A

Rated 1 out of 5 by Faulty product I have an old car and I have been waiting for this product so I can listen to music from my smartphone without wires. I have to say that connecting via bluetooth was simple BUT when I tested it in my car - no music, just hissing noise. I have connected same phone to bluetooth speakers and they work fine. I have sent this back for refund May 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by A NEW LEASE OF LIFE FOR OLD GEAR. ION CASSETTE BLUETOOTH ADAPTER This is just brilliant, I have a thirty plus year old JVC music system which now plays my music from my smartphone and the sound quality is just amazing! I charged the cassette first with a mains USB charger for about two hours, although there is no visible means to show when it is fully charged, needs an app like my Sony headphones which shows battery state. Pairing was simple, just turn on the tiny switch on the side of the cassette and the Bluetooth on your phone and look for cassette BT and you are done. Now turn the small switch off on the cassette, next I turned my music system on to the tape position and popped the cassette in, you will hear a little sound as it connects, then start your music from your phone and you are off. It’s best to set the volume on your phone to about half way and then control the sound from your Music centre. ION do an app to set up the sound quality as you like it, if need be, but mine sounds great as it is so I have not tried it myself. When you have finished playing remove the cassette from your system to preserve the battery life. It’s a shame it doesn't come with a protective box, but I put mine in an old cassette case to be safe. The instructions are for people with good eyesight or a big magnifying glass! April 29, 2015
