Have had this toothbrush for a couple of years now and had recently purchased new brush heads - big mistake as the unit now will not charge. Even had an electrician fit a shaver socket in bathroom to make charging simpler. Contacted manufacturer but had no response. Have now purchased another branded model. More expensive but hopefully more reliable. A battery operated toothbrush would have given better value.

First time I've tried sonic toothbrush or electric.yep it's a pain as I have to plug it in at kitchen socket but Its we'll worth it.my teeth feel so clean and look much better too.I also like the sanitizing aspect as I've never liked just rinsing and leaving toothbrush standing in a glass etc.I'm trying to buy the battery one now as I was away on hols and couldn't wait to get back and "clean" my teeth properly.Sadly it's on waitlist and I also can't see the replacement heads at all. Can you please sort out for me QVC?

Wow, wow, we already used an electric toothbrush, but this one is far, far superior. I am bit puzzled by other reviews especially about a socket in the bathroom, for safety sockets are not in bathrooms, but no problem we have it plugged in in the bedroom so just keep the toothbrush in the bathroom until it needs charging probably once a week with 2 of us using it twice a day, but the UV santizer is permanently on so when we put our heads back every time after using the are sanitised. Just remember not to turn the brush on until it is in your mouth as it is so efficient you end up spraying yourself with toothpaste!!!our teeth have never felt so clean & the shape of the brush heads mean you can get right into the corners of your mouth, so thoroughly cleaning even your back teeth.

I mistakenly though the Sanitizer would be charged when the toothbrush was charging. As I don't have a socket in the bathroom this is no good for me. I mentioned these UV sanitisers to my dentist and he's not in favour - he says they're not all they're cracked up to be so it's on it's way back

This was one of the first sonic toothbrushes I tried and I really liked it. I then went on to try others in the same sort of category which were all much more expensive but I wanted to see if the performance warranted the higher price.
They were good but I still favoured this one. It matches every one of the higher end price bracket and the best thing of all is that the charge lasts for 2 weeks plus. A lot of other customers would prefer a smaller brush but I like this one - it cleans more than one tooth at a time!
My mouth feels really fresh after using it and my teeth actually feel wonderful. Its gentle but the result is outstanding. Its a brilliant price and while I don't use the sanitizer that often, its a good thing to have so I'd always go for this rather than without.
I just love this toothbrush.

Find the brush a bit big. During use of the brush I have lots of saliva in my mouth and need to spit it out frequently as it just runs down my chin. Couldn't return it as my daughter bought it for me in advance for my birthday. My dentist however did say the surface of my teeth were good, but in between teeth not fab. Sorry, I did want this to work but I have to keep it anyway.

I purchased the model without a sanitizer from QVC. I bought it as I was worried that my Sonicare was on its last legs. I charged it and tried it out to ensure that it was working okay, which it was, and ought to have been as it was its first outing. Astonishingly, I did not need to use it as my old one defied death so it has sat in the drawer of my bathroom cabinet until four days ago, when I had needed to throw my trusty toothbrush away. I put the IBP on charge. No light whatsoever. I left it for 24hours when at last the red charging light came one. Hurrah. I left it on charge. Curious, I tried to switch it on after 36hrs charge - nothing happened, so back on charge it went. Yesterday I was over the moon. As well as the red charging light I saw the three green lights lighting up continuously running up and down. Good. I thought, something's happening at last.
Today the green lights are still running up and down but the toothbrush does not work at all. Sorry QVC but it has gone to join the other dead IBP toothbrushes in the sky. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing.
