Tips for Perfection
Making perfect yogurt with EasiYo is easy... Anyone can do it!

Here's a few tips to ensure your success in making EasiYo Yogurt - anytime, anywhere!

Use tepid water inside the Yogurt Jar
Ensure the water that you put into the Yogurt Jar is at a tepid room temperature - not very warm and not very cold. It's important the water in the jar is clean drinking water, i.e. treated water supply, cold-boiled or bottled water.

Mixing water and sachet contents
  • Half fill the empty Yogurt Jar with water
  • Empty contents of a full sachet into the jar
  • Replace the jar lid and shake until all powder has visibly dissolved
  • Remove the jar lid and fill the jar to the very top with more water
  • Stir with a fork if necessary, to completely dissolve all sachet contents into the water
  • Replace the lid and shake again

The spacer inside the Yogurt Maker
  • Push the spacer down inside the Yogurt Maker as far as it will go. Ensure it has the correct side facing upwards
  • The spacer controls the heat required to activate all the beneficial lactic cultures present in EasiYo

Use boiling water inside the Yogurt Maker
  • Pour boiling water just to the top of the spacer (no further) and before putting the yogurt jar into the Yogurt Maker
  • Too much hot water can destroy the cultures altogether or make the yogurt curdle (see weather climate variation note below)

Yogurt setting times
  • Leave the Yogurt Maker without touching it for 8 to 12 hours - or overnight, to let the Yogurt set
  • If the Yogurt has not set in that time, just leave it in the Yogurt Maker for a few hours more
  • Don't be tempted to any more boiling water
  • You can leave the Yogurt setting for up to 24 hours without any harmful effects

Refrigeration
  • Do not refrigerate the Yogurt before it has completely set
  • Made-up Yogurt will keep up to 2 weeks under refrigeration (4°C)

Cleaning your Yogurt Maker
  • Always clean the yogurt jar and lid thoroughly between use. Just wipe it with a damp cloth - do not immerse the Yogurt Maker underwater.

Weather climate variation
  • In extremely hot climates use a little less (1cm) boiling water inside the Yogurt Maker
  • In extremely cold climates, or when using chilled water from the fridge, top up with more boiling water around the sides of the yogurt jar inside the Yogurt Maker

Reviews & Customer Q&A

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 22 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lovely! Very nice yoghurt. I had given up using easy yo as so many sachets failed to work - but now there is improved guidance to say that tap water may be (and often is) too cold to set the yoghurt - and I have made the adjustment to slightly warm water and it works every time. One star off because I think it is a bit too pricey for what it is. June 16, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Didn't work for me Positive: had this low fat yoghurt before and it was excellent Negative: It has changed this time the yoghurt didn't work for me,so having used 2 packets and not enjoyed I returned to QVC within 30 days Maybe other QVC customers will enjoy it but I won't buy this particular EASi yo again April 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by bold yet subtle A delicious treat for all the family. Try crumbling a wedge of smokey stilton into this and combine some chopped cucumber to create a fabulous meal with a subtle kick. April 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by By far the best of the Easiyo products I had to order this on wait list which only goes to show how popular it is! I usually have this with fresh fruit and granola for my breakfast and have really missed that so was glad that I didn't have to wait too long to receive my 20 sachets. I find it is better only left for eight hours as it seems to become a bit sour when left longer. I don't usually add any sugar but have, on occasion, put in about a dessertspoonful just to take away any chance of the sour taste. By far the best of the Easiyo range in my opinion, with a nice consistency. February 17, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Sour I have tried the low fat unsweetened Greek yoghurt a few times, twice it didnt set properly so i left it for a bit longer 14 hours. it was so sour i couldnt eat it ! if i leave it less then it doesnt set, does anyone have any suggestions? i have also tried straining it through a muslin cloth and its still sour. Rated 3 out of 5 by Fantastic product until now Have bought this product for the last 3 years and eaten in everyday. Unfortunately now they seem to have changed something and the taste is very strange. Thought it might be a one off but have bought more since and this is the same. Will have to go back to buying yoghurt. Such a shame. QVC HAVE BEEN GREAT AT REFUNDING PAYMENT. November 06, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Easiyo low fat Greek Yoghurt I bought this because the usual Greek Yoghurt was on wait list and I had run out. Made it straight away and have found it more like a plain yoghurt than Greek. it is light so can be used in cooking but as a yoghurt I prefer not to have low fat. January 05, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Low Fat Greek us very sour I like EasiYo and my best is regular unsweetened Greek Yoghurt. I bought a mixed pack of customer favourites and in the pack was some low fat Greek. I made this up and found it extremely sour so to remedy it I strained it through a muslin cloth to get rid of the sour whey to improve the flavour. Now perhaps some of you like the strong sour taste and some don't. I am giving you my opinion so you can decide. If you do not like the sour taste then stick with regular Greek. March 03, 2014
