These slippers are a real treat for your feet. Having broken a bone in my foot, some can make the old injury ache, these do not. I did have problems with over-sizing, I am a true size 5, but ordered that size 4 in the sale. When trying to work out why these fit better, then answer is in the length of the sole; from toe to heal the 4 measures 25.5cm, the 5 measures 27cm. For me the size 4 is right, even though I am a size 5. The amount of fluff inside did not matter, or need the extra room. Would definitely buy Emu again, having worked around the sizing issue.

Like other reviewers, I too found that the foot bed at the heel wore through very quickly - certainly within 4-5 weeks of occasional wear in the house.
These slippers are quite expensive and the quality is not what we have come to expect from QVC.

Bought 3 pairs of these slippers last Christmas. 2 were for presents and 1 pair for myself. My slippers were at first very comfortable the sheepskin footbed did become threadbare in the heal area after a couple of months but were still wearable. I wear Birkenstock most of the year and have only got these out due to a overnight in hospital. I put them away about February/March this year. They felt a bit odd but then I haven't wore them for a long time and put it down to that. On further investigation I found one slipper still has thick sheepskin, so thick that I still have a large ridge under my toes. The other is completely bald except for a small amount under the arch of my foot. I think the sheepskin insoles must have been of different quality and I would have expected the same at the price The are now in the bin, expensive for slippers I have used for about 3 months.
