Rated 5 out of 5 by dickiedirt fabulous rich cream
I have used hydrafloral for years and I am delighted with the new rich version .it is very hydrating and my skin feels incredibly nourished and supple despite the cold northern winters I would certainly suggest people try it

After reading many of the bad reviews on here I actually went to a decleor counter to ask about this cream and changes to the formula. I was told the light is actually the original formula and the rich is a new formula. After using LE for a year and just not getting any exceptional results I decided to try the light version of hydrafloral.
It has a gorgeous smell which is in no way strong or overpowering, I have to be careful with scent as I suffer with migraines. The texture is incredible and absorbs immediately leaving a perfect base for makeup. It is very hydrating and lasts all day. I would say if you are debating or not sure about formula changes go for the light which decleor say is the original.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ShaniaC Original formula was better
I've been using the original formula Hydrafloral for five years and had been so happy with it. Bought the new rich version as thought this would be even more moisturising than the original but it isn't and it definitely does not last the day. By the evening my skin feels tight. Also, the rich version is so thick and difficult to apply its like using old fashioned cold cream. Why alter your so called best selling cream? What a shame I also am now on the hunt for a new moisturiser.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KL1966 Sorry, just not for me
The presenters always rave about this but sorry its just not for me. I have given it a try several different times as I am a bit of a skincare addict! However, even having tried the light option its the strong, overpowering smell which really puts me off. Am back to my good old favourites - Elemis and Liz Earle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fussymum Love it!
After trying, Liz Earle, Gatineau, and then Elemis, I have finally found my perfect cream. I love it, feels wonderful on the skin and really hydrating, I use the rich option and i am now a Decleor fan don't wont to be without this product. The sample aromessance is a great bonus. Can't recommend enough. Very happy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by pippab moisturising but not firming like the original was
I suppose all good things must come to an end and Decleor certainly seem intent on either discontinuing or changing the formula (and reducing the firming effectiveness in doing so - Systeme Corps being the previous one) of all my favourate Decleor products.. This one smells nice but it feels more like a serum than a cream and I feel as though I need to put a protective layer over it before I'll be able to brave those harsh winter winds. I have tried the richer one too but that feels quite greasy (and also not firming). Oh woe is me. This coming winter will be my first in 20 years without hydrafloral. I'm sure younger people, who dont need the firming action of the original cream, will love it though.

I received the new Hydra Floral over a month ago but finished the original pot I had first. I was pleasantly surprised, I had ordered the Light cream & it has less aroma which is a plus for me, it is also not such a white colour or any greasier. It left my allergic skin feeling very calm with no irritation. I am pleased it has no SPF Factor, as this could have irritated my skin & quite frankly is not necessary in moisture activator face cream as some people have allergies to SPFs so PEASE keep this excellent product just as it is.
