I agree with the other reviews for this product. It went on "blobby" and dried with an uneven yellow (nicotine colour) finish. My nail varnish looked patchy and I could see the "yellow" colour showing through my nails.
Also agree with reviews regarding packaging - far too much for a small item.
Will stick with Nails Inc and Leighton Denny in future.

Leaves a very dull strange coating on the nail which starts to peel after a short while. Have tried this product alone and with a top coat and the results are horrible. Also leaves a nasty residue on the nail which is difficult to remove. Would not buy from this range again.u

As mentioned before, the packaging was way over the top.
The product however, I've found to be quite good at doing what it's supposed to. It has covered up the ridges and white spots on my nails. I've put a coat of pink gel over the top and it looks very natural.
I'm glad I bought this.

Packaging over the top! Goes on evenly and so far my nail polish still looks good. Couldn't wear it alone though. Also bought the Happy Birthday duo, glitter awful!! Won't stay on at all. Disappointed!

I agree with everything the previous reviewer (Pseudonym) has reported.
Packaging well over the top and the product I just cannot understand at all. Tried to apply a thin coat as instructed but it just comes on uneven and a horrible matte weird colour - how anyone could wear it alone like that defeats me ! Haven't the heart to even try a colour over it.

Wow, what is QVC and DL thinking?
This item comes in a small cardboard box, which is absolutely fine. Things go downhill from there. This is then wrapped in a plastic bag, then wrapped in paper, which is then put into a massive cardboard box, which is then put into QVC's Blue bag. In this day and age of rampant consumerism, this is completely excessive, expensive and unnecessary. I don't particularly want to pay over the odds for packaging. On this basis alone I wouldn't recommend this product.
Now for the actual product. I tried this on bare nails, as advised and wanted to leave my nails like that, but I can't. The yellow cast to my nails is still showing, there is no brigthening effect either and the matte look doesn't look right, it looks horror film esq. Well, on my nails it does. This may well be suitable as a good base coat, only time will tell.
For a natural matte effect, I prefer OPI's Nail Envy (matte) which QVC also sell.
