My daughter Hollie uses these noise-cancelling headphones when we travel. She can plug them into the iPad, have the volume up loud and I don’t have to listen to the annoying tunes of her games.

Reviews & Customer Q&A

Rated 4 out of 5 by 60 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Astonishing! I had these for a Christmas present. I must admit that I was astonished when I first put them on, the sound is really excellent.I was wearing them right next to my large TV in the lounge, and I could not hear the sound coming from the TV,I would not have believed it if I literally hadn't heard it with my own ears. The sound was diminished enough for me to enjoy what I was listening to. Expensive, yes they are but worth it so I can listen to music without background noise. December 28, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by dissmayed very happy with these headphones, I own the android version, very impressed with both the reproduction and the noise cancelling system.i am dismayed though that in the presentation the guest trainer from bose didn't know the basic principal of how noise cancelation works, I find this very strange, when debby asked him this question he said I don't know I'm not a physicist, even I know and i'm not a trainer working for bose. Rated 1 out of 5 by High price for poor product QVC should stop selling these till Bose admit there are issues with the structure of them. I took mine to Dubai and wore them whilst walking my pooch but it seems the weather (around 27-30Degrees) melted the glue on the ear pads which resulted in them coming away from the cup. I tried to fix it but couldnt which made me a tad mad. I got them fixed locally and the next thing is the left cup stop working. Poor product and since this mare of a purchase Ive now gone to B&O H8 which are miles better all round November 26, 2016

Rated 1 out of 5 by update! Previously wrote a review on these headphones and much of what I said remains true. The sound quality is second to none and the comfort and style is excellent! However, After using these headphones for over 4000 hours I have discovered some annoying and major floors. For starters they are advertised as travelling headphones, which they are great at. But, the noise leakage is terrible people next to have often asked me to turn my music down and it’s only running about 50% volume. Also, regrettably my first pair broke rather quickly. The right ear cup simply cut out. There was no damage or scratches and I can guarantee you that they were looked after exceptionally well. So I returned them and got another pair. However the same issue recently happened, the right cup just cut out again. In all excellent sound quality and in my opinion the best noise cancelation money can buy at this price range. I just wouldn’t recommend getting them for the soul reason that both pairs ive owned have just broken. A major design flaw from such a pioneer in audio systems August 30, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Love the ANC but right cup died I love the noise cancelling, compact size, design and wear comfort. In particular the noise cancelling is astonishing. Having bought these I kicked myself for having stuck with Sennheiser for so long. Downside is poor build quality. I bought mine in November 2014, and the right ear cup just died. Appears as if it is a wire problem. Granted, I use them a lot for commute, but for this price you would expect better, especially as others seem to have had the same problem. Battery life is decent, although not as good as with Sennheisers, which stock two AAAs, one for each cup. May 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Big investment, but great product. I have had a pair of the all black 'special edition' (that's marketing for you) for a couple of months. Everything about them is great, except the price, but if I can get a few years out them, then it will be worth it. I just need to make sure I always have the case with me. Sound is fantastic, although a little too much bass when the cancellation is off. I just noticed that they auto-switch when not worn, which is fantastic. I have also noticed that cancellation is a problem when going through train tunnels, the pressure change causes a 'pffump' noise, so I do find myself turning NC off on a frequent long distance train journey I take. Only other negative is that the right angle plug turns in my pocket. I understand that Bose have since redesigned the plug to be straight, so I guess I'll buy that when the cut outs from the cord turning finally push me to the edge. May 08, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Amazing ability let down by poor quality My partner and I, after some deliberation, bought a pair each 11 months ago and for the first time ever, slept much better on long haul flights. I have since used the pair weekly in the open plan office where I work when I need to concentrate undisturbed. I found the noise cancelling works best with low frequencies,so conversation is very much dulled out though still audible. It works best with music. My ears are large so I find many headphones are uncomfortable, but the cups on these are large and oval, allowing me to wear them for hours without discomfort or pain, like on other headphones. The pads are still comfortable and it's good to have the option to replace them. Occasionally, I have worn them whilst walking outside and found the audio lead connecting to the left ear piece can work itself loose. Today I found the right ear piece not functioning, which is a big disappointment and unexpected for headphones in this price range. I treat my headphones carefully, always keeping them in the soft shell case. Reading other reviews I see others experience the same problem. I hope Bose can address whatever is leading to this - the product works great, but the quality is a let down. April 16, 2016
