These are great statement trousers. I normally prefer a block colour but couldn't resist this monochrome look as I already own the dress in this print. Great fabric and fit with a cool print. I received lots of compliments on their first outing so will be stepping out my block colour comfort zone more often.

I got these in the blue and a medium. I loved them, wore them a lot in the holidays. Bought the white as I loved them so much. The White came in the medium and a I knew I loved them I threw the invoice away before I tried them on. Both medium just different colours. The blue fit perfect, the White would not even go over my hips, I checked the labels and yes they were both medium, the White were a good 2 inches smalle on the waist and hips than the blue. As I believed the same size would fit I now cannot return them as no invoice. Makes me wonder about this range.

I ordered these in small, but should have got XS. I'm a High St 8/10. So have reluctantly returned these. I think they are in lovely cloth and I like the style very much. Sadly the blue colour was a little too hard and brash so I haven't ordered another in the XS. I didn't want them in the white and black either as I don't think they would be that flattering even on slim legs. It's a shame that they don't come in a grey and black or black and aubergine, perhaps Prussian blue/black. I can't fault the cloth and they do seem well made and designed though the material is thin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bornagainteen FABULOUS, but size up
Noticed these on clearance and could kick myself for not waiting but I already have both colour ways now. When I wear them I feel just great. They do make quite a statement so not for wallflower moments but have really enjoyed wearing them. For me I think I will have many years wear from them as they have echoes of Art Deco style which has become timeless.
I've mostly worn the blue ones as they were my second purchase and I went up a size - teamed them with a plain black top - either a Kim cold shoulder top or one with interesting hem from Lori Goldstein - add Marla's black Ottoman duster waistcoat and high ankle boots and I feel great - even got compliments from my son. Will be wearing again for parties this winter.
The white is slightly cream and goes well with recent purchases from Andrew Yu of winter white oversize poncho top, or from Marla's last collection the new winter white Ottamon duster - plus both pair well with Andrew Yu lovely black tulip top.
As long as you read the other reviews and account for sizing up (which I didn't with my first purchase of black and white pair) then you'll be good to go. They are not very stretchy at all and my legs are fairly slim - my best asset, but had to size up from medium to large for a middle age middle! The women with control leggings I have are a bit too roomy in a medium so these are a whole size or even two different. I've found L in these are similar to Kim's M leggings but with less stretch - I'm generally a 14, 12 on a good day and L in these ideal fit. A good bargain for anybody who hasn't bought yet and likes the architectural style

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cash69 Cheap, nasty fabric
(I'm Size 10/5ft 6in)
I bought these trousers in a Small which has corresponded to my size in other Renee items. However, these trousers are tiny and have no stretch. They're also made from a tacky, see-through fabric which I would never wear anyway.
I returned them.

I am so totally confused. I know these were sold as trousers and not leggings but reviews say these leggings are a tight fit. I am a size 22 and ordered the 3XL which fitted perfectly around the waist and hip, but oh my, no way could they be classed as leggings they were sooooo baggy I would say they were more like harem trousers, I could have got 2 legs in one side of the trousers. What's going on!!!!!!
Have given 3 stars as the material and quality were fab, Just bitterly disappointed about the fit, what's happened to quality control.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Supershopper It's not just me...
Looks like I'm not the only one who has size and fit issues with these trousers. I ordered large in black/white, which should have fit me, but when I tried them on they were skin tight and had hardly any stretch from side to side. There was quite a lot of stretch from top to bottom, but not widthways where it is needed. I would have thought there should be stretch in both directions, as these pants are a slim fit. Once again these are being returned - such a shame. Please, Rene, try to bring these back without the stretch issues as the geometric pattern is great.
