Reviews & Customer Q&A

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent iPad Have used apple iPad for past 4 years and decided to upgrade to this model and it has met my expectations and more. Once you have mastered how to use an iPad it is fairly straightforward. The picture quality is sharp and clear and it is a very responsive piece of equipment. Overall extremely delighted with my purchase. Expensive yes, but to my mind worth the expense. Very happy bunny! January 28, 2017
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed I bought this iPad for myself before Christmas to take over from my Kindle Fire which I've had for 4 years. A pricey investment but with Apples reputation, i thought it would be worth it. The parcel arrived and the packaging was first class. I eagerly switched it on but - nothing. The iPad had to be fully charged. Very disappointing. It did charge quite quickly compared to the Kindle so later on that day I began to explore it. Phew! Couldn't get any sense out of Sirius so I was left baffled and many attempts later, I got online. I have to say this iPad is not intuitive at all - you have to know what you are doing. There are no tips/ hints to help you along the way. There is help at the official website presuming you find your way there. I'm still not proficient at it and stumble my way through it every day. I closed the iPad down over the Christmas period so a week later I went back and struggled my way through the process of logging on again. Frustrated, I phoned Tech Crew to activate the iPad only to be greeted what must have been the worst Customer Service person ever. America usually leads the world in Customer Services but not on this occasion... He was monosyllabic and very unhelpful. He sounded as though he was totally disinterested or inebriated. I had to keep saying to him 'are you still there?' He obviously got the dopey customer of the day but I explained my inability to use an Apple iPad but I got nothing from him. I eventually worked out for myself that I had to re-enter/change my password - sounds simple but as I said, it's not intuitive so I ended the call. My advice would be: don't buy this product unless you are familiar with Apple. The Tech Crew support is well below the standard expected these days so you get nothing extra for buying from QVC. I'm sure the iPad is exceptional, if I ever work it out but if you are not familiar - beware! I am not a novice tablet/computer user, I used computers in my job for many years using Microsoft office etc. My views are that there should be much more support for non Apple users. I have been very disappointed and i will probably 'crack it' sometime in the future but for now I wish I had never bought it as it's very expensive and no support makes the learning journey very difficult.
