Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing! I have been following The body rescue plan for 2 weeks now and I have never felt so good! Its so easy to follow and I love all the beautiful imagery. The recipes I have tried so far are delicious and really easy to make, and as I am not a great cook I am delighted with this. So far I haven't been hungry and have lost 10 pounds. I can't wait to see what happens in the next 10 weeks! I feel so much better than I did before, and I have even got my kids into the recipes too! January 27, 2017
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed I thought this was a healthy eating plan, as this was the impression given during the on air presentation, but it is just various fad diets cobbled together. After receiving the book, I was very disappointed but decided to give it a go, as I'd paid the postage. A large portion of the book is taken up by testimonials, yoga, meditation, quotations and waffle just to pad the book out. I would expect the recipes to correlate with the weekly plan, which I tried to follow, but there are no menus corresponding to the first two weeks. There are also several inconsistencies in the text which make it awkward to follow, and the shopping list reads more like a recipe. My food bill has more than doubled, and I've also wasted a lot of money on supplements for the smoothies. Spirulina powder is the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. For a working person, cooked lunches are not possible, as microwave cooking is a 'Don't', even though no explanation for this is given. There is nothing in this book I have not already heard before, so it is going back. January 25, 2017
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointing. Lovely looking book for the shelf. Sorry to say far to fussy for the normal working family and very expensive on the shopping bill. If I had some one to do it for me it may well have worked. I will be returning it. January 23, 2017
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worried There is too much going on in this book and not enough information and explanations on any one subject considering it promises a lifetime change it needs to. Be a lot more thorough the recipes and ingredients are not that user friendly my. Biggest concern as an excercise instructor are the given exercises , with no supervision some are really not suitable at all January 09, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by It works! Ordered this book as I HAD to lose 3 stone - Drs orders, I want to lose 5 stone. Read the book through when it arrived last week and started the next morning. I am amazed to say that I have lost 6 lbs and 2 inches off my waist in one week!!! I read the book cover to cover and all I can say is "the penny dropped". Giving up coffee has not been a problem for me, normally 5 - 8 cups a day. I feel so much better and didnt get any headaches surprisingly. So glad I bought this book and felt secure that I could try it for a few weeks and send it back if it didnt work for me. May 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by at last one that works After many years of yoyo dieting ,losing weight putting it back on ,i started curcuit training 4 years ago and go 5 mornings a week ,yes ive toned up and lost weight,but then comes the plateau..having not lost much since before Christmas, i decided something has to change,then on QVC, here was Christianne Wolff, with her new book the BODY RESCUE PLAN...thought about it many times,but just didnt give myself that push ..bought both books,THE BODY RESCUE PLAN, along with the recipe book,sat down went through them a couple of times,and wondered "can i do this".. Well yes i can ....i started on the dettox,and just 3 days later had lost 4lb...i was so happy when i got weighed, was asked what have you done different? .thats my secret for now i thought,hehe....the choice of food is excellent ,you know your eating is good because i feel so good ,and believe it or not ,i have lots of energy,never feel hungry.which is a good sign ..the book is also good for vegetarians ,so lots of choice .im now looking through the recipe book to bake some of my own snacks ....cnt wait .dnt think about it too long ,just go for it im sure others will benefit like myself .HEALTHY EATING but healthy eating with the right food .. Rated 5 out of 5 by Wow! I feel so good The detox weeks were tough, but I stuck with it and after 4 weeks have lost 16lbs and 8 inches. My skin is glowing and I am sleeping better than I have for years. I am not hungry at all and have invested in a juicer to start my day with a zing! The body rescue plan has definitely changed my relationship with food forever. Thank you Christianne March 03, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nothing new I ordered this book when it was recommended by a presenter who was talking about how it helped with her weight loss; hence, I ordered to give it a try. I have lost quiite a bit of weight, anyway, over the last year and, to be frank, didn't find anything revolutionary or revelationary in this book. I know the equation to lose weight and the importance of exercise. This book may well be useful to many but nothing new to me. Luckily, with QVC, you can return. February 20, 2016
